What honestly drew me into AoC was the combat system.

Aside from that, I don't really know the Conan "universe", etc.
I was just a movie ... seems strange to make an entire MMORPG based on it.

As for Warhammer I hope it will be fun. I've got my pre-order set up, etc...
I am still not sure what's going to make it that much different than WoW though.

The major difference between AoC and Warhammer is that AoC was created by a group that had little MMORPG experience. Mythic had great success with DAoC and they have experience with MMORPG's. they will understand things like server load and what will actually happen when it goes live un like blizzard did the release of warhammer will be smoother then the release of WoW. I doubt it will kill WoW though it's just not the right time. I for see WoW hanging around for a couple more years before it dies off but who knows if warhammer plays their cards right they could be the killer.
